Concrete Forms |

Description of Forming Process.
Each concrete module is poured in two steps. In step one, the floor and about one foot of the "stem-walls" is poured. In step two, the large rolling "inner-form" is rolled onto the cured floor. The inner form is raised using four jacks. Outer form panels are attached and the remainder of the walls plus the roof deck is poured. After curing, the inner form is lowered using the jacks and rolled out of the cured concrete module. The form system was modified in order to facilitate transportation. The inner form remains generally as built. The outer forms, the "pouring platforms" and the stem wall forms were all cut down. All of the forms that were cut may not be practical for use again. Or, you may want to cut the entire system up for use as an entirely different form. As mentioned, this is a used forming system. Before purchasing, you should see the system where it is currently located and determine if it is suitable for your use. The concrete building that were produced with these forms are at the same location and can be viewed as well. Please note that the forms are to be sold 'as-is'. See disclaimer for further details. |
